Let the Adventure Begin

Wow, is it really the end of 2016 already?!? So much has happened this year that it seems to have flown by for me. I'm looking forward to more adventures in 2017, aren't you?

Today I made this card in honor of one of those new adventures. You may not know that I joined Fun Stampers Journey 2 months ago and I am loving it! You can find my website here. The catalog is chock full of 316 pages of goodies, plus there are 4 mini catalogs throughout the year. Thank you, Richard Garay, CEO & founder of FSJ, for this amazing company!

The image and sentiment on my card are from the ATS Begin Adventure, AT-0194. The ATS stamp sets are all a great price point and the perfect way to start your FSJ collection. I stamped with Black Licorice ink, IP-0009, onto Whip Cream card stock, CS-0040. The edges were sponged with Beach Ball ink, IP-0047.

My card base is also Whip Cream card stock, to which I adhered a layer of Beach Ball card stock, CS-0088. The strip of cloud paper is from the Magical Journey Prints, PP-0038. The Magical Journey Collection debuted in the Oct-Dec 2016 Mini Trends Catalog, and I am head over heals in love with the entire collection! The collection is full of Walt Disney quotes and is delightful. The pattern paper and stamped panel were adhered with Journey Foam Squares, AD-0085. Richard's motto is, "When in doubt - pop it out!" That always adds just the right extra touch, don't you agree?

I used the sketch from the current challenge at Freshly Made Sketches #268, so I will enter my card there. I am also entering it at Time Out Challenges #73 , where the Inspired by Words challenge is -
'With each sunrise we are given a chance for a new beginning'. At the Simon's Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge it's 'Anything Goes", so I'll add it there, also.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my card today. It's been far too long! My wish is for everyone to have a wonderful New Year! Enjoy!

Sending Pugs & Kisses

Hello! Today I'm sharing a Christmas card I made for my son, daughter-in-law & 5 year old granddaughter. They recently got a new puppy. Meet Averie & Rocky!

Of course, I absolutely had to buy the Clearly Besotted Bah Hum-Pug! stamp set. I am head over heals in love with this sweet set! For my card, I stamped 2 of the cute pugs and sentiment in black & colored with markers. I've added some WOS for some shine on the star, Santa hat and lights. The die cut panel was matted with gold glitter CS and added to the card base. I finished my card with a sprinkling of sequins. Aren't they adorable?!?

I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday with family and friends. Merry Christmas, everyone! Enjoy!

Dog Crazy Birthday

Hi! It's been so long since I've posted. I have been making cards, along with getting my new business with Fun Stampers Journey started and growing my Nerium business. Then there's so much to do for Christmas! Who says retirement is boring?

Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made for my son earlier this month.

I love these Tim Holtz Crazy Dog stamps, don't you? I used Zig watercolor markers to color and then fussy cut the pieces. The pieces were popped up with foam onto brown card stock that had been embossed with a woodgrain embossing folder. I added some twine to the balloon and anchored it to the bone. The sentiment is from the Tim Holtz Crazy Talk set. Love how it turned out!

I hope you're getting in some crafty time during this busy season. Enjoy!

I'm Back!

Wow! I cannot believe how long it has been since I've posted. So many wonderful things have been happening that time sure has gotten away from me. My Nerium business is keeping me very busy. If you haven't heard of Nerium yet, please check out my website at www.pamnutting.nerium.com We are an anti-aging skincare company that is shattering sales records everywhere.

My latest venture is that I have signed up as a Fun Stampers Journey Coach. Richard Garay, the creative genius behind the company, brought the Fun Stampers Journey Amazing Tour to Syracuse last month. I went with some friends, one of whom was already a coach, and fell in love with all the products What to do when you want everything? You sign up to sell, of course. Now you understand why I've been so busy, don't you?

Here's the first card I created with a few of my new supplies.

Those super fun aliens are from the retired Greetings Earthling set that I had purchased from my friend. I used Turbo Teal, Sour Lemon and Electric Lime  inks to stamp my little cuties. FSJ inks are hybrid inks and they stamp fabulously. The sentiment is from Rock Notes and embossed with FSJ Black Embossing Powder. It is so shiny IRL and these embossing powders are my new favorites.

I splattered some Sour Lemon Silk on the panel, and then added some sequins and enamel dots to embellish. My stamped panel was framed by Black Licorice, Sour Lemon and Turbo Teal card stock and the layers were all popped up. These colors are so vibrant and fun!

I'm entering this into the current challenge at Seize the Birthday , no toppings for me.

Now I have to start expanding my FSJ supplies. My friend and I are planning to teach classes and I am really excited about that! Please browse my site to see the entire catalog of amazing FSJ products. I hope you'll order some new goodies of your own to play with. I promise you'll love them!

Hopefully, I'll be sharing more projects soon. Meanwhile I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Enjoy!

Beautiful Day

Hello. I hope you are having a beautiful day! I recently saw this post on the Penny Black blog and wanted to case the design of the cards in it.

I decided to bring out my NBUS Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set to play. I stamped only the outline layers of the bloom and leaves on the top and bottom of the card base. I masked off the inner shape and added Spun Sugar DI with a dauber. Then I used a dot stencil with the same ink to add a bit of texture. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

When I finished the card, I realized it's loosely the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #181, so this will be my second entry there.

Now I have to find an afternoon to practice layering the stamps from this gorgeous stamp with different shades of ink. Can you tell that the layering stamp sets from Altenew are my latest addiction? Love them!

Have a beautiful day! Enjoy!

Altenew Peony Love

I love, love, love the Altenew Peony Bouquet stamp set! I stamped and die cut quite a few of them the last time I played with them. This one came in handy to use on a quick card for the current challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches, which is a sketch.

Today I only needed to add the leaves and sentiment to a card base. Then I popped the peony up with dimensionals and this CAS card was finished in no time! I love the blues in the Altenew Glacier Caves mini inks set. So much so that I just realized today I have 2 sets of them! Anyone else double buy and realize it a couple months later, or is it just me?

I'm also entering this into AAA Cards: Game #69 - One Stash Favorite. The peony was in my stash and they are definitely one of my favorites.

That's it for me today. Thanks for stopping by and have a great evening. Enjoy!

Cheering for You

Hello! Happy Monday. I spent today making cards. I've purchased so many new sets in the past couple of months and I haven't had time to play with them. So I decided today was a playday!

Are these cheerleaders adorable or what? I recently bought a couple, few, ok - several stamp sets from Clearly Besotted. I love Stephanie Wincott's (Stamping & Sharing) stamps so much. All so cute and fun!

Three of the same little cheerleaders were stamped in the middle third of a panel that had been die cut with a wonky stitched rectangle die. I then colored them with some new Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens. Have you tried these yet? After watching my favorite enabler, Jennifer McGuire, compare these and Wink of Stella pens here, I just had to try some for myself. They are so shiny! Hopefully, you can see all the shine in the close up picture below. The sentiment is from the same set and the panel was added to a card base. Very quick, very easy, very CAS.

I'm entering this card with these cuties into some challenges -

     CAS(E) this Sketch #181 - shown below
Less is More #285 - Repitition
Addicted to Stamps & More - Make Your Mark

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! Enjoy!
