Thanks So Much

Hello. Today I'm sharing a card I've made with some of my new Fun Stampers Journey products. I will be using these as my thank you cards for my Fun Stampers Journey and Nerium customers.

The sentiment is an ATS stamp set, Thanks Much, AT-0213, and was inked with Beach Breeze Ink, IP-0047. I love the font on that set. I've used the smallest of the flowers in the Journey Blooms stamp set, SS-0048. They were stamped with Candy Apple, IP-0017, and Citrus Cooler, IP-0048, inks.

I adhered the panel to Beach Breeze card stock, CS-0001, and added it to a card base made from Whip Cream card stock, CS-0040. This flat card will easily go through the mail.

I'm entering this into The Paper Players CAS Flowers challenge, as well as the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.

Thanks for visiting. I hope your day is fabulous and you have some crafty time. Enjoy!

The Flower Challenge

Hello! I hope everyone is well. Today I have a card for a challenge new to me -The Flower Challenge #4 - Blue & Yellow.

For this card I've used another stamp I purchased and hadn't gotten to play with yet, The Ton - Happiest of Peonies. Peonies are one of my favorite flowers. I white heat embossed the image on watercolor paper and then used my Zig markers with a water brush to color. As you can see I'm still learning to use my markers and need lots of practice.

I die cut the watercolor panel with a stitched rectangle die, adhered it to my card base and added some candy dots to embellish.

I am also entering this into NBUS Challenge #9, without the optional theme this time. I have a mountain of new stamps to make time to play with, so I hope to make another card this week using the theme.

Thanks for stopping in. I hope everyone is having a lovely week. Enjoy!

You Rock!

Hello! I'm back with a CAS card I made while playing with some fun products from Fun Stampers Journey. I am so glad I signed up as a Journey Coach. This company and it's products are outstanding and so much fun!

Aren't these rainbow hearts pretty? They were inked with various colors of Fun Stampers Journey True Color Fusion Inks. Love them! I wanted to split the inked panel. but I can't say I really like how it turned out.

The hearts are from the Be Amazing stamp set, SS-0269, and the sentiment is part of Rock Notes, SS-0211. My card stock is also from FSJ, Whip Cream, CS-0040. Click on my link on the left sidebar to view all of our current products.

I'm entering this into Addicted to Stamps and More, which has a photo inspiration as their first challenge of the year. The theme over at CAS on Sunday is Hearts, so I'm entering there, also.

          For your blog

Thanks for visiting and spending some time with me today. Enjoy!

Butterfly Birthday

Hello. I have a new card to share today. I've depleted my supply of birthday cards, so I need to get some made.

My butterfly and the strips were made from a leftover  Color Burst piece I had in my stash. (Actually, I cleaned up a very messy pile on my table and unearthed the leftover piece along with a lot of others!) This is the first butterfly I have die cut with the Concord & 9th Floral & Flutter die that I purchased a few months ago. Isn't it lovely? I added it with glue dots along the body so the wings are not adhered.

I've used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches so I'm entering my card there. Also, I'm entering it at CASology where the cue card is Cut, as well as Inkspirational where the word prompt is Flutter. I'm also playing at Seize the Birthday, without the toppings this time, and at The Playground with my snippets of Color Burst paper.

Thank you for stopping in to see my lovely debut butterfly made with this fabulous die. Have a wonderful week. Enjoy!

Sending a Latte Love

Hello and Happy Friday! Another week has flown by. Does time seem to go so quickly for everyone?

Today's CAS card took less than 5 minutes to make. Seriously. It makes up for the ones that take me hours, sometimes only to wind up in the circular file.

This is for the Less is More challenge. This week is One Layer Card Week and the theme is Favorite Drink/Beverage. Anyone who knows me knows that this was an easy one. Love my coffee!

The stamp set I chose is Latte Love by Stamplorations. I simply stamped both the image and the sentiment in Fun Stampers Journey Dark Roast (of course!) ink onto my card base. I used my MISTI to make sure everything was centered and straight. It seems I use that for every card lately.

I purchased this stamp set long ago, but have never gotten around to using it before today. So I'll be adding this to NBUS Challenge #8 over on sweet Darnell's blog.

I'm off to drink another cup of coffee! Have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy!

Falling Hearts & Kissing Pandas

Hello. Today I'm playing at The Paper Players - Black, White & ???

Aren't those pandas darling? They're from Mama Elephant - Pandamonium. I love this super sweet collection of adorable pandas and sentiments, including the one I've used.

The background was created by using red tinted embossing paste with glitter added on the SSS Falling Hearts stencil. Those hearts were so gorgeous and sparkly after they dried. It was die cut with a stitched rectangle die, adhered flat to red glitter paper and then added to the card base. You may not be able to see it in the picture, but it is very sparkly.

I added the sweet sentiment, fussy cut the pandas and adhered them with foam squares. Adorable!

I've had a super busy week. Our first Fun Stampers Journey  monthly card class was last night & we had 9 people attend. So glad so many people came and had fun making cards. Love spending time with friends - old and new! I hope you're having a great week. Enjoy!

love

Hello! Happy Monday! Today I am sharing a card for the Impression Obsession Challenge - Shiny New Year.

Impression Obsession's Heart of Hearts die is one of my all time favorite dies. Isn't it gorgeous? Not only is it gorgeous, it cuts lots of yummy little hearts that can be saved for other projects. For my card, I added some of the smaller hearts into the cut out ones after adhering it to a scrap of DCWV Foiled Cardstock. The heart panel was die cut with a stitched rectangle die and then added to the card base with fun foam for dimension. Quick and easy. I love how it came out!

The picture didn't capture the shine of the cardstock, so I took a close-up where hopefully you can see it.

I am also entering my card into The Playground as my foiled cardstock was a snippet. (Di, I do so hope your back is better!)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! Enjoy!

FSJ I Rawr You!

Hello. I'm back with a card made with some of my new Fun Stampers Journey products from my newest order. I am in love with this company and it's products. I'm so glad I signed up as a Journey Coach!

Aren't these dinosaurs the cutest? The stamp set is Dino Love SS-0417 which includes 3 dinos, 3 sentiments and 3 hearts. They are precious! The pp is from Sweet Spring PP-0039, a 6x6 collection. I used the sketch from the challenge at Freshly Made Sketches #270

I stamped Mr. T. Rex with FSJ Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink IP-0041. I am delighted with these inks. They are a blend of dye and pigment inks and my new favorites. Mr. T Rex was colored with Prismacolor color pencils and fussy cut. The card base was made with Cranberry Bliss CS-0090 to which a layer of Butter Cream CS-0006 was added. A sentiment from the stamp set was inked with that marvelous Black Licorice and I added some hearts with Bubble Gum IP-0099.

Then pp was layered on the Cranberry Bliss CS and added to the panel with Journey Foam Squares AD-0085. The small strip of Black Licorice CS-0003 was adhered flat to the base. Mr. T. Rex was popped up with more Journey foam squares.

I had so much fun making this card and I hope you like it. If you are interested in purchasing any of these supplies or just perusing Fun Stampers Journey be sure to go to my website www.funstampersjourney.com/pamnutting and take a look around.

Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous week! Enjoy!

Happy 40th Birthday!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful New Year! I have a fun card to share today that I made for a friend's 40th birthday.

I always love using this fun CAS-ual Fridays WTF stamp set for 40th and 50th birthdays. I used rainbow colored inks from Fun Stampers Journey and my MISTI to stamp the panel and then splattered it with some FSJ Sour Lemon Silk. Sadly you cannot see how the silk sparkles in the picture, but it does add some great shine.

The panel was die cut with a Whimsy Stamps Hand Stitched Rectangle die and inlaid into a frame created using the same die on MFT Rainbow Stripes paper. I finished off my card with some FSJ Amazing Trim that had been tied with FSJ Whip Cream Thread and sprinkled some trim pieces around. I love how this came out. Rainbows always make me happy!

I'm entering this into the first Seize the Birthday challenge of the new year, which is "Anything Goes". Also, since all of my Fun Stampers Journey supplies & my FSJ business is new, I will enter this at Just Us Girls #375 Word Week - New

**Edited - I just remembered the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #164 - Celebrations & I am adding my card there. Don't know how I forgot that one! Sorry, Michelle!**

All of the Fun Stampers Journey products I used on my card are available on my website here. I hope everyone has a wonderful week! Enjoy!
