You & Me

Hi. Another week has flown by and I haven't been able to make anything or blog until today. I finally was able to spend the day at my stamping buddy's house making some cards. Due to her husband's recent knee replacement, we haven't been able to get together as often as we usually do. We had so much fun!


This is one of my cards from today. Yes, I used all my favorite products - Tim Holtz Bird Crazy stamps, Tim Holtz Handwritten Sentiments stamp set, SSS Stitched Rectangle Dies and Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Before I adhered my watercolored birds onto the card base, I spritzed the panel with my Tim Holtz Distress Marker Spritzer and Spiced Marmalade DI. I added 3 tiny hearts and the stitched frame. I am so in love with these birds and watercoloring. I'm obsessed!

Tomorrow we have our annual family pool party, which is always a blast. I'm hoping the horrendous rain that we had earlier in the week that caused so much flooding locally is not going to reappear. I love just lounging in the sun by the pool watching all my nieces and nephews swim. Have a great weekend! Enjoy!

    Haha, there they are again, these crazy birds! I really like, that you kept them a bit softer in the colour and also how you only put some sprinkles for the backgraund to focus the attention to the birds. Thank you for joining the ATSM challenge, Creative regards from stempelfrida

    Your crazy birds are so awesome, Pam. Love how you've coloured them, fussy-cut and popped them up over your spritzed background. I have just bought this stamp set and recently got the zig pens for my birthday, so I'm with you ... these are such fun images and the pens are fun and easy to use.     How did your pool party go?? Really hope that Mother Nature granted you with lots of sunshine. How wonderful to have someone to craft with too. It would be lovely to have someone close who shared the same crafting interest as myself. Can imagine you both giggling away and sharing your stash with each other. I just love those birds, they are so quirky and you coloured them brilliantly. Have a good week!

    I can think of a lot worse things to be obsessed with than these birds and water color. LOL You go girl. The birdies are super fun and your coloring looks fantastic.
