Graduation Centerpieces & Moving

Just popping in to say I haven't been posting because I'm moving. It's so hard to believe that I have accumulated so much in the 12 years I've been in this apartment. I have to admit that probably 1/3 of my boxes are labeled stamp or scrapbook materials. That's wild, considering I didn't do either of these when I      moved here. So, it's been time to sort and purge.

Yesterday I did take so time to make the table centerpieces for my granddaughter's graduation. Thanks so much to my dear friend, Rosalie, for helping me assemble them. Thanks also to another dear friend, Lorraine, for the idea.

Skyler's school colors are orange and black, and I thought that they'd turn out looking like Halloween. I'm so happy that they didn't. I used orange flower pots & ribbon, black flowers & deco mesh and graduation straws used as skewers to hold the Class of 2014 foam pieces, with a silvery glitter star glued to the mesh. All of the materials were purchased at Michaels. I love the way they turned out.

Time to go back to packing boxes. Oh, I can't wait until this is over!
