Make a Wish

Today I have a birthday card to share. I always seem to run out of them so quickly!

Sorry for the poor lighting, but it's never sunny in Central New York. Plus it's been snowing all day. I'm ready to get my sandals back on.

I've used two Uniko stamp sets for this card. The balloons are from Balloon Bash and the sentiment is from Pure Florals: Cosmos. The wonderful owner, Beverly Brown, sent me the Cosmos set as a complimentary gift and I love it. Thanks so much, Bev!

I stamped the balloons in various Ranger Dye Inks. Some of them are masked, but as you can see, I'm still learning to mask. I wanted to get this card into some challenges before they close, so I just went with it as it is.

I'm adding this card to Less is More #313 - Balloons and Addicted to CAS #103 - Wish.  I'm also playing at Seize the Birthday, without the toppings this time.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy!

Thank you!

Hi! I'm dropping in today with another CAS card for a couple of challenges. This one came together in just a few minutes.

I love the ATS stamps from Fun Stampers Journey! The ATS sets include an image and a sentiment and have a very low price point. They are perfect for making a CAS card!

This is the image from the Lovely Day ATS inked in Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink on Whip Cream card stock. I simply colored the flowers with markers. The sentiment is from the Summer Garden stamp set. If you saw my post from yesterday, these are from the same sets I used on that card. I've added a strip of polka dot pp from my stash to balance my image.

I'm adding this to Just Us Girls - Photo Week #378 and Inkspirational: Challenge 127 - polka dots.

Thanks for stopping by. Please visit my website here to purchase any of the Fun Stampers Journey products. Have a great day! Enjoy!

Have a Lovely Day

Hello. Last night I watched Jennifer McGuire's fabulous video on ombre stamping here and knew I had to try it! Here's my first attempt -

Hopefully you can see the ombre inking in this photo. I used all Fun Stampers Journey products to make this card.  FSJ ink is a blend of pigment and dye ink, so I wasn't sure if the technique would work. I was pleased with how well it did.

First I white heat embossed one of the florals from the Summer Garden stamp set. Then I began blending  Watermelon Fusion ink at the bottom; quite heavily at first with a foam blending tool and softening the color as I went towards the top. The sentiment from Lovely Day was created the same way.

I matted the panel with Watercolor Fusion cardstock and then adhered it to a Whip Cream card base. The sentiment piece was popped up with Journey Foam Squares.

I would like to enter this at Addicted to Stamps and More - Make Your Mark.

You can purchase any of the products I used today on my website here. Lots and lots to look at!

I hope everyone is having a lovely day! Enjoy!
