LIM & AAA Collaboration!

Hello! How cool is this? Less is More and AAA Cards are having a collaboration challenge! This 2 week challenge is to make a CAS 1 layer card. The catch - use a colored card base! Here's what I came up with.

I chose  Fun Stampers Journey River Stone cardstock for my card. The World Map background stamp was inked in Lovely Blue True Color Fusion Ink to add the lightest hint of color to my background. I then added the Begin Adventure ATS in Black Licorice True Color Fusion ink. The sentiment is from the same ATS. What could be more appropriate than an airplane and that sentiment on that card?

All of the supplies I've used can be found on my website www.funstampersjourney.com/pamnutting. I so hope you'll go look around and see all of the fabulous products Fun Stampers Journey has to offer. You'll love them!

I'm adding my card to both of the challenges. Hopefully, my card base is still considered CAS white space, even with the hint of color I've added.

Thanks for visiting and have a lovely day! Enjoy!

Grab Your Sunglasses!

Quick! You may want to grab your sunglasses before you look at my card today!

Pretty bright, don't you think? These fabulous colors are included in the Be Amazing Collection at Fun Stampers Journey. I love these bright, neon colors!

To begin my card a die cut Black Licorice cardstock with the the stunning Geo Burst die set. I love how easily this intricate die cuts in my Amaze die cutting machine. If any of the pieces don't pop out, you can grab the must have Bloom Tool to help pop them out.

I then added the  1 1/2" Circle Punch Cartridge to the Punch Handle and used it to punch 5 of the colors. The colored circles were adhered to the back of the black licorice die cut panel with Journey Craft Glue. Once the glue was dry, I trimmed the overhanging circles with the fabulous Grand Pro 9" Shears. Next I added the panel to my card base made from the 6th color in the collection, Outrageous Pink. Isn't it fun?

To embellish my card I used Turbo Teal Silk to color my Pearls, and adhered one to the center of each burst, Finally I added Amazing Stripes ribbon tied into a bow at the top of my card.

Aren't those bold, beautiful colors stunning with that black panel? I'm adding this card over at Pixie's Snippets Playground as I used scraps to punch all the circles. You should head over and see who else is playing in the Playground this week. Such beautiful entries!

I hope you enjoyed my card as much as I enjoyed making it. You can find all the supplies by clicking the links that will take you to my online store at www.funstampersjourney.com/pamnutting.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I always love hearing from you. Have a great weekend! Enjoy!

Dandelion Wishes

Hello and Happy Friday! I have a CAS card to share today that came together very quickly.

Very CAS, wouldn't you agree? I used a new stamp set, Dandelion Wishes, from Fun Stampers Journey brand new catalog that launched July 1st. If you haven't seen the new catalog yet, click HERE to see the digital version. It's 335 pages of gorgeousness!

First. I die cut Whip Cream cardstock with the Journey Rectangles die set in 2 sizes. Would you believe there are 12 different dies in this set? Then using a stamp positioner, I inked the images and the sentiment with Black Licorice True Color Fusion ink. Have a told you yet that this is hands down my new favorite black ink? Absolutely the crispest black I've ever used.

To finish my card I used Journey Foam Squares to pop the panels up onto the Whip Cream card base.

I'm entering this into the current challenge at CASology where the cue word is 'wish'.  Also, I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and will enter it there.

Please stop by my website www.funstampersjourney.com/pamnutting and take a look around at all of the amazing Fun Stampers Journey products! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy!

Dreams Happen

Hello. Yes, dreams do happen! One of my favorite quotes is "If you can dream it, you can do it." by Walt Disney. So very true!

I love this stamp from the recent Fun Stampers Journey Convention that I used on my card today. To create the background, I blended some Candy Apple, Lemon Drop & Beach Ball True Color Fusion Inks with a dauber onto a piece of Whip Cream cardstock. I die cut the ink blended panel and a piece of Black Licorice cardstock with Journey Rectangles dies. Don't you just love how they are pierced?

My stamp was inked with Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink onto the ink blended panel. After adhering that to the black panel, I added a generous splattering of the yummy Sparkle Silk for some gorgeous shine. For even more sparkle, I added Journey Glaze and  Journey Sparkle Dust to the stars. I scattered some Journey Sequins Special Celebration onto the panel and popped it up on the card base with Journey Foam Squares.

I'm adding this to Just Us Girls as my second entry for Ink Blending challenge.

Miss You

Hello. One of my besties taught me to do this beautiful blending technique with Fun Stampers Journey Pan Pastels. I love how this turned out and it was so easy to do.

To begin, I stamped the Stay Wild ATS in Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink, truly the BEST black ink I have ever used. I then used a mask behind the trees and began blending various colors from our Pan Pastels Collections., beginning on the mask and blending away from it. Love it! You'll never get the same look twice!

I'm entering this into the current challenge at Inkspirational, where this week's word prompt is 'rural'. I'll also add my card at Just Us Girls to their trend week challenge which is ink blending.

I'd love for you to check out the all new Fun Stampers Journey catalog at my website www.funstampersjourney.com/pamnutting. The new stamps and other products are spectacular!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Miss You

Hello & Happy Weekend! I am having so much fun playing with all the new products from Fun Stampers Journey. You can see the beautiful new catalog HERE. It's 335 pages of pure gorgeousness!

Today I created a card using a stamp and die bundle from the Mystic Romance Collection. The stamps in this new collection are beyond stunning! For this card I used the  Embroidered Rose bundle, BD-0257. Look at the dimension created only using ink! I am in love with these sets.

The largest bloom was inked with Sweet Berry, IP-0029 and the leaves were inked in Lemon Grass, IP-0022. My images were then die cut with the matching dies. I popped the images up onto Whip Cream cardstock, CS-0040, and then popped that up onto Sweet Berry, CS-0034. After adding Sparkle Silk, IP-0126, I adhered the panel onto the card base.

I added one of the sentiments from the beautiful new Embroidered Greetings stamp set, SS-0507, in the Sweet Berry Ink. To finish my card, I colored some Pearls  with the same ink and scattered them
on the card. Visit my website at  www.funstampersjourney.com/pamnutting  to purchase products.

I've followed the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #295 challenge and will enter my card there. I'm also playing at Pixie's Snippets Playground as I've used snippets for my bloom and leaves.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy!

Celebrate!

Yes, I really am back! Today's card is very CAS, but perfect for the 4th and also a few challenges.

I've used all Fun Stampers Journey products on my card. They are all available for purchase on my website at www.funstampersjourney.com/pamnutting. The cardstock colors I chose are Whip Cream (CS-0040), Candy Apple (CS-0007) and Huckleberry Fusion (CS-0015). The ink is also Candy Apple ((IP-0017).

My stars were die cut with the Star-Dom Bundle (BD-0074), which includes a die set that cuts and another that pierces in 6 graduated sizes. When the 2 dies are added together, you get a beautiful stitched star. I just had to add our Journey Glaze (AD-0002) for some shine. Did I stop there? Oh, no! Some of our fabulous Journey Sparkle Dust (AC-0013) was added for sparkle, of course!

Assembling this CAS card was easy and quick. The 2 cardstock strips were adhered with Easy Glide Adhesive Runner (AD-0081). I then added the sentiment from the Cake Time stamp set (SS-0138). The star above the sentiment (strategically covering a mistake) is from So Pretty, a recently retired set. Lastly my sparkly stars were popped up with small Journey Foam Squares (AD-0084).

Adding this to some challenges. At Just Us Girls it's word week, where the word is 'Celebrate'. I've followed the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch, as well as used the colors of the US flag for the current Less is More challenge. Over at Curtain Call it's an inspiration challenge using red, white and blue. My inspiration was the stripes.

I hope everyone here in the US has a lovely 4th of July holiday and that everyone has a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy!
