Have a Lovely Day

Hello. Last night I watched Jennifer McGuire's fabulous video on ombre stamping here and knew I had to try it! Here's my first attempt -

Hopefully you can see the ombre inking in this photo. I used all Fun Stampers Journey products to make this card.  FSJ ink is a blend of pigment and dye ink, so I wasn't sure if the technique would work. I was pleased with how well it did.

First I white heat embossed one of the florals from the Summer Garden stamp set. Then I began blending  Watermelon Fusion ink at the bottom; quite heavily at first with a foam blending tool and softening the color as I went towards the top. The sentiment from Lovely Day was created the same way.

I matted the panel with Watercolor Fusion cardstock and then adhered it to a Whip Cream card base. The sentiment piece was popped up with Journey Foam Squares.

I would like to enter this at Addicted to Stamps and More - Make Your Mark.

You can purchase any of the products I used today on my website here. Lots and lots to look at!

I hope everyone is having a lovely day! Enjoy!
