Party Animals Birthday

Hi! I can't believe that it's September already and that I haven't shared a card in so long. What a busy summer I've had and I hope things slow down once the school year starts. Especially since it's my second year of not having to go back myself!

My great nephew turned 2 over the weekend and I used the fun Party Animals stamp set from Fun Stampers Journey to make his card.

This set has such adorable animals and cute sentiments. I kept the card simple by adding leftover strips of  Hazelnut Blend and Tangerine Fusion card stock to a Whip Cream card base. The sentiments were added with Hazelnut Blend True Color Fusion Ink. My cute  lion was stamped, colored with Journey Color Burst pencils, fussy cut and popped up onto the card base. Fast, easy and a great way to use up scraps!

I'm playing at the current challenge at Pixie's Snippets Playground. Love how many snippets I was able to use to make this cute card.

I hope everyone has an amazing week! Enjoy!

  1. Hi Pam! How lovely to see you in the Snippets Playground again. LOVE this card. Very clever use of snippets and it almost looks like a 'Lion King' stage show poster! I just bet your great nephew loved it :)

  2. Hi Pam, a great card and fabulous way to use up some of your snippets. I agree with Miss Di, looks very much like the lion king stage show posters. Have a wonderful week... Megan GD Snippets Playground
