For this card I used the adorable Mama Elephant Honey Bunny stamp set. This set has the cutest little bunnies, sentiments and tiny accessories for the bunnies. I stamped the standing bunny in black onto a top folding card base. The sentiment was stamped with a new dye ink, Ranger Pink Gumball. The three tiny carrots were stamped in black and colored with Peeled Paint and Spiced Marmalade Distress Markers. I stamped part of a stem from a floral set on my table to ground the bunny.
That's it - no extra layers, no sequins, no ribbons, bow or flowers and no stitched dies. It's clean, it's simple, it's bare naked, but I think it's kind of cute.
I would like to enter this card into these challenges:
Less is More - One Layer Week 215 - include an animal
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Lions & Lambs, oh my! (use any kind of animal)
Time Out Challenge #27 - Clean & Simple with the optional twist of black & white with a splash of color
Simply Create Too Challenge #81 - Easter or Bunnies
Have a wonderful day. Thanks again for stopping by!
Pam

Super cute card Pam! That bunny is adorable! Thanks for joining along with the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge!
ReplyDeleteYour 'bare naked' bunny card is absolutely adorable! Looks like you've nailed the one-layered challenge! Wipe the sweat off your brow, admire this gem and...go back to the layers you love (you may decide, however, that one layer works for you, because from what I see here it sure does). I've tried one layer...no luck! Apparently I "need" my stitched panels (because no matter what I do, everything seems crooked without them). Awesome card...

Great card !!
ReplyDeleteYou forgot a challenge Pam...Paper Arts Club!!!! Don't you feel like you want to make about 10 more of these 'cuz once you got the design (which probably took as long as a full blown layered card) you wanted to keep going? I know I sure would!!! It's the cutest card!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteA fun and super CAs-card! Thank you for taking the TIME OUT and join us!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is so cute - does not look like you are one layer challenged! I love one layer cards - they are quick and easy for me - I guess that's why I like them...
ReplyDeleteSooo CASilicious, Pam ... such a sweet hopping bunny, so perfectly 'accessorised' with those wee carrots! One layer challenged? Nope, don't think so! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Anita :)
