The Flu

Yes, I managed to get the flu. Again. This is the second time in 3 years. Yes, I had my flu shot. I get one every year. Usually they get it right. Not the past two out of three years though. Just one of the perks of working in kindergarten and an elementary school in general. AKA Germ Central. I finally felt well enough today to make a card.

One of the images from the A-Muse Studio Floral Duet stamp set was used on this card. I inked the flower with Hero Arts Butter Bar Mid-Tone Shadow Ink on Neenah CS. The panel was die cut with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles, as was the black CS stitched frame around the floral panel. 

The sentiment is from MY Favorite Things Birthday Greetings and die cut with the same dies. I also added a black CS stitched frame around the sentiment panel. All of the pieces were adhered to a top folding card base. A sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh 6mm Lemon Drop sequins was added to finish off my card.

    I hope you're feeling much better this morning, Pam.. I adore that flower, and may have to go shopping for it! Also love the Butter Bar - Therese at Lost in Paper used this color this week, too - you girls are going to get me in trouble with shopping ... thanks so much for playing cards with me this week at Muse...

    Hope your feeling much better now, although your probably back with the germ carriers now.... Kids sure know how to spread germs etc thats for sure!! I love that flower stamp, its gorgeous and looks fabulous in the yellow against the white. Very crisp. A perfect Muse card!!
