The very first Sparkle and Shine Challenge, is to draw inspiration from this photo -
Well, with a photo of a green four leaf clover, I have to go Irish, of course. Pretty Pink Posh has some amazing dies in the shop that Paulina designed, also. I chose to make a shaker card using her Stitched Duo 3 Dies. I die cut lime green and white CS. The four inside squares were left in the white CS to form the back of the shaker piece, and removed from the green CS. I adhered a piece of acetate behind the open windows with tape runner. A piece of fun foam die cut with the same die was added to the white CS to create the dimension needed to allow the shaker pieces to move.
Before adding the sequins, I stamped the smallest shamrock from Verve Stamp's Lucky You stamp set onto the four windows in the white CS. Then came the fun part - adding the sequins. All of mine are from Pretty Pink Posh. I used the 4mm and 6mm Sparkling Clear Sequins, along with the gold and green sequins from the 4 mm Classic Christmas Sequins Mix. I added all my sequins, followed by adhering the top shaker panel to the fun foam. Now the really fun part - shake and shake some more!
A sentiment from the same stamp set was added to the top of the die cut. Some sequins were added around the sentiment. Then I adhered my shaker piece to a paper from the Authentique Lucky 12x12 Collection Kit. Love the paper designs in this set! Then my panel was adhered to a top folding card base. Then more fun - shake the whole card!
