A Jelly Bean Easter

Do you know what NBUS is? I didn't until I started following Darnell on her blog djkardkreations. Haven't heard of her or aren't following her yet? What are you waiting for? She's amazing! Anyway, NBUS stands for "never-before-used-schtuff". You know, all the stuff we've bought and  haven't used yet. (Don't even try to tell me you don't have any.) Darnell has a NBUS Challenge where you use NBUS and then it becomes ABUS ("already-used-schtuff"). Go look!

Here's my entry for her challenge. See the jelly beans? That stamp was NBUS, but is now ABUS because I finally used it. It's part of the Avocado Arts Springtime Celebrations stamp set that I bought a couple of years ago. Actually, there are several stamps in this set that I haven't used yet. (Hard to believe, I know.) The sentiment was also never used, because I just cut one apart - GASP - and made my own. The original sentiment was from 'Buckets of Love' by There She Goes, which is now out of business.

The jelly beans were stamped in Versafine and colored with Distress Markers. The die cut panels were made with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles, which are definitely not NBUS, because you all know that I use them all the time.

I will enter this into :
Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Jelly Bean
Craft Stamper Take It Make It March Challenge - Anything Goes (as long as you use a stamp)

Thanks for stopping in and leaving a comment. I love reading your thoughts on what I've made. I hope your Monday went well. Only 8 more days until Spring Break! (not that I'm counting or anything!)
