The Challenge #27

I love the colors and sketch Lesley designed for The Challenge #27 over on her blog, Always Playing with Paper. I created a card using both the colors and the sketch.

All of my papers are from the  Lawn Fawn Let's Polka 6 x 6 Paper Pad. I love the colors and small designs on these papers. The Easter egg was die cut from the Classic Egg and Filigree Egg dies from Memory Box, that I no longer see listed on their website. Of course, I had to use my Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles to make a frame around the outside of the card. All of the pieces were adhered to a Neenah card base. The egg was popped up with foam dimensionals.

A sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh sequins and a sentiment from Avocado Arts Springtime Celebrations finished my card.

I would like to give a shout out to my three newest followers - A huge thank you to Ardyth Percy-Robb of MASKerade, Chana of Redora Lee Designs and Karen Hasheck of Karen's Kreative Kards. I am honored that you are following me now. Thank you!

Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment. They are very much appreciated. Enjoy!

  2. Amazing take on the sketch; that egg die is sweet! I don't have any LF polka-dot paper, but you're sure giving me incentive to add it to my wish list! Fabulous card in every way!!
