Beautiful Beginning

Today I have a card for Inkspirational: #83 - Purple with the added option of making a wedding card. Design Team member Pia is getting married, so this challenge is a surprise for her.


Here's my card. I inked Dusty Concord Distress Ink over the SSS Stenciled Heart. Then I die cut it with Mama Elephant Femme Frames. The 'love' is die cut from a scrap of inked CS with Wplus9 Love Showers. I then inked the sentiment from SSS Beautiful Words in Dusty Concord and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. After cutting the piece into a banner shape, I popped it up on the heart panel. The panel was then added to my card base with foam tape.

We had a great time at the stamp show today. I was able to get some really nice stamps and good deals. It's always fun shopping for stamps with friends and I'm so lucky to have them.

    What a wonderful stencil and looks amazing in that deep purple. I have that sentiment stamp myself and forgot all about it, never thought of it being a wedding stamp, silly me!! Gorgeous card and I'm always happy to see you at ATSM!
