Isn't that gorgeous? Just so amazingly beautiful. Here's my card inspired by the gold embossing, blue watercoloring, off-center placement and embellishing with sequins -
I tried this card several different ways, a few on watercolor paper and then on 110# card stock. The texture on the watercolor paper did not allow for even embossing, at least on this type of background stamp. This is the 110# card and the gold embossing is much crisper. The stamps are from JustRite - Snowfall Background & Large Fancy Holiday Sentiments. I used a Mr. Hueys Watercolor Set that came in a Studio Calico kit I purchased a couple years ago. Three Pretty Pink Posh gold sequins were added around the sentiment. The embossed panel was adhered asymmetrically to a white card base.
Sorry, but in my haste to get this card posted on time, my photo was taken at night. I'm not loving how this card turned out, but it does look better IRL.
Be sure to check out all the entries at the Muse: Christmas Visions first challenge. There are so many beautiful cards.
Edited to add - As I was linking my card on the challenge page, I realized the challenge doesn't close until tomorrow. Lost another day somewhere. Wonder where that went. Well, maybe I can try another one, because "After all, tomorrow is another day" (love that movie!)
Have a great week. Enjoy!
